Digital Storytelling Showcase

Confidential Page for Project Partners

Notice: This page has been specially designed for potential partners involved in our project to address modern slavery. The content shared here is for illustrative purposes to raise awareness about the Digital Storytelling (DST) method and is not intended for widespread distribution. We have secured all necessary permissions to share these stories for this specific context.

About the Digital Stories

The digital stories presented below were crafted in workshops themed around ‘scholarship’, where participants endeavored to reflect this theme in their personal narratives. These stories are exemplary results of the transformative process inherent in DST, where the primary focus is on the participant’s experience. Shareable storytelling outcomes is considered a bonus, not a guarantee. We seek permission to share each story only after a workshop’s completion, ensuring no participant feels pressured to make their story public.

Our Approach to Digital Storytelling

Digital Storytelling has been employed worldwide, predominantly in academic environments including universities and has seen significant application in fields such as healthcare and social sciences. This methodology is particularly effective in capturing authentic personal experiences. It has become a key tool in educational and therapeutic settings, providing a platform for voice and reflection.  Read more about how the Digital Storytelling Learning Journey is structured here: https://storylab.digital/digitalstorytelling/
